The Fold- Little Rock, Arkansas

I am originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and in the last couple of years, I have discovered new restaurant and made old ones new favorites one being: The Fold: Botanas & Bar located on Cantrell Rd. The Fold is a bright & trendy taqueria in a converted gas station with cocktails and modern takes on Mexican fare. Y’all it’s seriously good!

I first heard about The Fold from my brother who happens to be a foodie and a great cook. We enjoyed lunch there during one of my visits and I have been hooked ever since. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve been seated right away, and the service is always great, the food is consistent, and the place is very clean. They have both indoor and patio type seating.

During my last visit to Arkansas, my family and I chose this place as our gathering spot. Our server was very accommodating and sweet (we seriously had a lot of children with us). I ordered the Lemon Rosemary Margarita which has Rosemary Infused Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado, Fresh Lemon Juice, Grapefruit Juice and it was delicious and so beautiful.

For dinner, I had the Mexican Street Corn it was made with jalapeno aioli, queso fresco, cilantro, and tajin seasoning. If you are a corn person you would love this, it’s one of my favorites.

For dinner, I had the Steak Burrito which was made with mushrooms, caramelized onions, jack cheese topped with queso, pico de gallo, queso fresco and cilantro……this was pretty amazing as well.

I also really love The Fold because it’s Instagram worthy. If you are ever there be sure you snap a picture in front of their logo mural, outside the restaurant or inside; you won’t be disappointed. And to answer your questions, YES! Arkansas has great food and The Fold is one of the best.
